Description
Precision Vein & Vascular is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing specialty vascular and vein practice in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This provider will serve as the primary clinic APP, managing patients with venous insufficiency, varicose veins, chronic lower extremity swelling, vascular-related wounds, peripheral vascular concerns, and other vein and vascular conditions. The APP will work closely with our Interventional Radiologist, who manages complex arterial disease, deep venous disease, advanced interventions, and procedural oversight.
This role offers significant autonomy, procedural opportunities, leadership involvement, and the ability to help build a rapidly growing specialty practice.
Position Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Independent Clinic Management
Conduct new patient consultationsPerform comprehensive vascular and venous assessmentsDevelop treatment plansManage follow-up visitsReview diagnostic studiesCoordinate multidisciplinary careEducate patients regarding vascular disease and treatment optionsManage procedural follow-up careParticipate in quality improvement initiatives
Assist in the development of clinical workflows and best practices
Diagnostic Responsibilities
Interpret and discuss findings from:
Venous reflux studies
Venous duplex ultrasounds
ABI/TBI testing
Peripheral vascular screenings
Lower extremity vascular evaluations
Collaborate with the Interventional Radiologist for complex findings and treatment planning.
Procedural Responsibilities

Cosmetic spider vein treatment

Follow-up touch-up sessions
Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy
Treatment of symptomatic superficial veins

Patient evaluation
Follow-up care
Independent performance based on experience and competency validation

This provider will play an active role in practice growth and community engagement.
Responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining referral relationships with primary care providers, specialists, home health agencies, wound care partners, and community healthcare organizations
Meeting with community providers and referral partners
Participating in educational events and outreach opportunities
Supporting practice marketing initiatives
Promoting early intervention and vascular screening programsHelping expand community awareness of vein and vascular services
Identifying opportunities for clinic growth and service line development
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Required
Current Utah NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
DEA registration
Board certification
Strong clinical assessment skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent patient communication skills
