- Urologic Surgical Oncology Opportunity in Miami, Florida
Description
Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Urologic Surgical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary oncology program dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with genitourinary malignancies within one of the nation's leading integrated healthcare systems.
- Full-Time Opportunity
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU)
- Requirements include an MD/DO from an accredited institution, an active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure by the start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing requirements
- Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology is required
- Candidates must demonstrate expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, penile, adrenal, and other complex urologic cancers
- Responsibilities include the evaluation, diagnosis, and operative management of patients with urologic malignancies utilizing open, minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and advanced surgical techniques when appropriate
- Collaborate closely with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, Genetics, and other oncology specialists to develop individualized treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning conferences informed by the latest clinical evidence and national guidelines
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in robotic-assisted surgery and complex oncologic procedures involving the urinary tract and male reproductive system
