We are seeking dedicated X-Ray Technologists to manage various responsibilities while delivering safe, competent, and compassionate care to diverse patient populations in settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. More specifically, X-Ray Techs who can:
Demonstrate sound judgment and technical accuracy within diagnostic radiology.
Collaborate with other healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes.
Deliver care that meets the unique faith and cultural needs of patients.
Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in all imaging situations.

Job Responsibilities
As a ShiftMed X-Ray Technologist, you’ll be responsible for but not limited to:
Preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
Operating imaging equipment to produce quality radiographs
Following radiologic safety and infection control standards
Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining patient records
Communicating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care
Maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions
Assisting with patient transport and mobility as needed
Promoting a positive work environment and demonstrating a positive attitude

Hourly pay rates may differ based on the location of ShiftMed healthcare facility partners. All advertised rates reflect the wages ShiftMed partner facilities are currently offering. Hourly rates fluctuate throughout the week depending on the facility you schedule shifts with.
**ShiftMed adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidance on COVID-19 vaccinations. Healthcare professionals must be up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster dose when required. Healthcare professionals not up to date on COVID-19 vaccination doses may be required to undergo weekly testing and comply with mask mandates at ShiftMed client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still be subject to regular COVID-19 symptom screenings, including temperature and symptom checks.
Requirements
Basic Job Requirements
Active, unencumbered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) license from the state in which you plan to work
Push, pull, support, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds
Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support)
Annual physical
Negative TB test results
