Opportunity InformationSutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or focused expertise in Neuroimmunology to join our growing neuroscience service line in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This is a unique opportunity to build and advance a comprehensive neuroimmunology program, delivering cutting-edge care for patients with complex autoimmune neurologic disorders in a collaborative, physician-led environment.
The Opportunity
You'll practice at the forefront of neurologic care, managing a diverse and complex patient population including:
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
- Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD)
- MOG antibody disease
- Autoimmune encephalitis and other inflammatory CNS disorders
This role offers the ability to shape program development while working alongside experienced neurologists, subspecialists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and manage patients with neuroimmunologic disorders across the continuum of care
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including advanced disease-modifying therapies
- Collaborate closely with infusion services, radiology, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in program development, clinical protocols, and quality initiatives
- Engage in teaching, research, or clinical trials (if applicable/available)

Who You Are
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship trained in Neuroimmunology/MS (or equivalent clinical expertise)
- Passion for treating complex autoimmune neurologic conditions

- Strong communicator who thrives in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
- Fellowship training in Neuroimmunology
- Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a premier multi-specialty medical group made up of over 400 physicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area.
