Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient consults, inpatient emergencies, outpatient clinic visits, and scheduled outpatient procedures
• Role includes procedural coverage plus consultative IR support
• Collaborative model with supervising physicians and APP coverage integrated into daily operations

Schedule

• Day coverage runs 7am to 5:30PM
• Assignment is structured in weeklong blocks across late summer and early fall
• Trauma coverage and emergency call coverage are part of the rotation

Cases and Procedures

• General invasive interventional radiology procedures
• Biopsies
• Kyphoplasty
• Port placements
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
• Michigan license, will consider candidates with an active IMLC LOQ, open to IMLC Physicians
• Comfort with supervising APPs during daytime coverage

Credentialing

• Typically 30 days, applications are prioritized according to start date
