Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Indiana University School of Medicine has an opening for a Physicist position in downtown Indianapolis. This is a full-time position and will cover clinics in Indianapolis and surrounding communities. IU's Radiation Oncology faculty includes 11 clinical physicists, 13 radiation oncologists and 2 full-time researchers. Educational programs include a residency program and a radiation therapy B.S. degree program. Join a collaborative and supportive team!
Job Details:
- Tenure-track eligibility will be evaluated based on experience and fit.
- The successful candidate is expected to perform clinical service, participate in quality improvement & research and participate in the teaching of students.
- Schedule Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm
- 6 clinical sites that offer a wide range of clinical opportunities and a diverse patient population
- Wide variety of academic opportunities in the education and research missions
Job Requirements:
- Requires a M.S. or PhD in medical physics.
- Must be qualified to practice as a Physicist in Radiation Oncology and be certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or have completed/currently completing a medical physics residency.
- H1b sponsorship will be considered
