Southern Kentucky Vascular (SKV) is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Interventional Radiologist to join our rapidly growing vascular and endovascular practice based in Somerset, Kentucky.
This is a unique opportunity to practice primarily in a modern, accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment while helping expand one of the region's most successful outpatient vascular and interventional programs. The ideal candidate is interested in building a comprehensive image-guided intervention practice with substantial autonomy, excellent earning potential, and a clear path to ownership.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will practice primarily in our outpatient ASC and office-based setting, focusing on minimally invasive image-guided procedures including:
Core Clinical Focus
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) interventions
Diagnostic angiography
Venous insufficiency treatment
Endovenous ablation procedures
Venography and venous interventions
Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE) for knee osteoarthritis
Non-invasive patient evaluation and longitudinal care
Practice Growth Opportunities
The incoming physician will have the opportunity to help develop and expand service lines including:
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
Hemorrhoidal Artery Embolization (HAE)
Musculoskeletal embolization procedures
Spine and pain interventions
Interventional oncology services
Men's and women's health interventions
Additional outpatient image-guided therapies based on physician interests and expertise
This position is ideal for an interventional radiologist who enjoys building programs, expanding service lines, and creating a lasting impact within a physician-led organization.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
Base salary of $650,000
Production-based incentive plan
Realistic total compensation approaching and often exceeding $1,000,000 annually after practice establishment

Primarily outpatient practice
Majority of procedures performed in ASC setting
Hospital privileges required
Minimal hospital responsibilities
No routine weekend call
Limited inpatient obligations

While hospital privileges will be maintained, the overwhelming majority of clinical activity will occur in the outpatient setting, allowing physicians to focus on patient care rather than inpatient service demands.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
Comfortable practicing independently in an outpatient environment
Strong interest in PAD, venous disease, embolization therapies, and practice development
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire for long-term growth and leadership
Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
