We are currently seeking a qualified Interventional Radiologist to support our growing UFE and MSK embolization programs in the DMV area.
Position Overview
This is a part-time procedural role offering consistent monthly coverage in a fully outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient embolization procedures in a high-quality clinical environment
- Lead and collaborate with the on-site clinical team, including technologists, nurses, and clinical coordinators
- Deliver exceptional patient care and communication throughout the procedural experience
- Support standardized workflows and best practices across the program
Requirements
Qualifications
- ABR Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
(or Diagnostic Radiology with IR/VIR CAQ) - Active medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Willingness to maintain regional licensure as needed
- Strong leadership skills in a procedural clinical environment
- Excellent patient communication and outpatient care mindset
- General IR and embolization experience preferred
- UFE and MSK embolization training available
Training & Development
Comprehensive training is provided and led by some of the highest-volume embolization specialists in the country. Whether you are looking to expand your experience in:
- Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
- MSK embolization
- Or both
Schedule and Work-Life Balance
- Part-Time: 5 procedure days per month (typically 1-2 days per week)
- Scheduled work hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
- Compensation: $25,000–$30,000 per 5-day week, plus malpractice coverage and credentialing support.
