Opportunity Overview:
Covenant Medical Group, in partnership with Covenant Health, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist or Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our growing neurosciences and stroke program in Lubbock, Texas.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative, high-acuity neurovascular team serving more than 1.2 million patients across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. The incoming physician will play a key role in advancing our comprehensive stroke program and expanding neurointerventional services throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform minimally invasive, image-guided neurovascular procedures, including:
- Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke
- Aneurysm coiling and embolization
- AVM/AVF embolization
- Carotid and intracranial stenting
- Evaluate and manage complex neurovascular conditions, including stroke, cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, carotid artery disease, and intracranial stenosis
- Participate in stroke call coverage and acute stroke response
- Collaborate closely with neurology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and critical care teams
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, research, and program development
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of:
- Diagnostic Radiology residency with Interventional/Neurointerventional fellowship training or
- Neurosurgery residency with Endovascular Neurosurgery fellowship training
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty
- Eligible for Texas medical licensure
