Description
Azura Vascular Care Plantation is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologist to join its outpatient vascular center located in Plantation, Florida. This opportunity offers a 100% ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environment with modern procedural capabilities, a strong referral network, and significant growth potential.
The role is ideally structured as a full-time position, with flexibility for a part-time ramp-up arrangement for candidates interested in gradually building clinical time while transitioning into a full-time role.
The Interventional Radiologist will provide comprehensive, minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, with a strong emphasis on end-stage renal disease (ESRD) interventions and advanced embolization therapies. The physician will work closely with clinical staff and leadership to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full spectrum of ESRD endovascular interventions (angioplasty, thrombectomy, fistulagrams)
- Provide advanced embolization procedures, including:
- Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE)
- Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE)
- Hepatic Artery Embolization (HAE)
- Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
- Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient ASC setting
- Collaborate with clinical staff and referring providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Support practice growth through program development and service line expansion
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in NexGen EMR
- Participate in quality and compliance initiatives
This is a procedure-focused role with a highly desirable schedule and strong earning potential in a growing South Florida market.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Completion of accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship training
- Minimum 3+ years of post-fellowship experience preferred
- Active or eligible for Florida medical license
- DEA certification
Clinical Expertise:
- Proven experience with ESRD-related endovascular procedures, including:
- Angioplasty
- Thrombectomy
- Fistulagrams
- Experience performing embolization procedures, including:
- PAE (Prostate Artery Embolization)
- HAE (Hepatic Artery Embolization)
- UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
- Genicular Artery Embolization (GAE)
- pAVF creation (preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern embolization techniques, including PAE, GAE, and other MSK/pelvic embolizations
- Proven interest in building and growing an outpatient embolization-focused practice
- Prior experience in ASC or OBL settings
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort contributing to service line growth and practice development
