Description
Women's Imaging Specialist is seeking a full-time or part-time, fellowship-trained and experienced BREAST IMAGING radiologist to support our growing independent imaging practice in Atlanta and the surrounding north Georgia communities. Candidates must possess expertise all areas of breast imaging; including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and the full spectrum of interventional breast procedures.
Flexible hybrid schedule to work 2-5 days a week, M-F, position with no call, no nights, no weekends & no holidays
Competitive Salary with additional RVU productivity bonus.
Onsite is required for biopsies 1-2 days a week. Remote all other days.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full-time or part-time, 1099 employed (non-partnership track) 100% breast imaging position.
- Weekly schedule (Monday-Friday 8a – 4:30p) is a mix of telemammography from home!
- Case Mix: Breast Imaging & Breast Procedures (Diagnostic studies are interpreted real-time located at home)
- Volume: Varies, about 75-100 studies per day.
- Able to read and interpret Tomosynthesis Mammograms (Screening and Diagnostic)
- Breast Procedures: Cyst aspiration, Biopsies (US and Stereotactic guided), Axillary node biopsy
- Women’s Imaging Ultrasound
- Able to read and interpret Breast MRI
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- GEORGIA medical licensure needed by start date. ALABAMA will also be needed but not affect start date.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited U.S. program
- Board certified by the ABR or AOBR
- One-year post residency fellowship in Breast Imaging is required
