Ultrasonographer

Primary operations include more than 60 Marshfield Clinic locations, 11 hospitals, Marshfield Children's Hospital, Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, Security Health Plan and Marshfield Clinic Health System Foundation.
32-, 24- and 16-hour, Mon - Fri day shifts to include weeknight and weekend call rotation
Positions over 20+ hours/week may include a sign-on bonus
Openings in Marshfield, Minocqua, and Weston, WI
The Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic OB/GYN, abdominal and other ultrasound exams. Completes exam analysis and preparation for Radiologist’s review and interpretation.
Requires successful completion of an Ultrasound internship or formal training program or possess an Ultrasound Credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) accrediting bodies, plus
- ARDMS in at least one of the following areas or (or registry eligible) in the areas of abdomen, obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN), or vascular technology (RVT) for registry eligible, one must be completed within 9 months of employment.
- ARDMS Certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN must also be completed within 24 months of hire.
- If working in a department performing breast ultrasound, you must complete American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Breast certification or ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) credential within 24 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association and Red Cross within three months of employment.
Preferred/Optional: ARDMS or ARRT certified in Sonography
