*Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology* *Baylor Scott & White Health | Temple, TX* *Full-Time | Days | Call Required* *About the Role* Baylor Scott & White Health - Temple is seeking a *Full-Time Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse* to join a highly engaged and collaborative IR team. Job Summary As an Interventional Radiology RN, use nursing expertise to deliver patient care with the healthcare team. Tasks include evaluating health, identifying issues, creating care plans, and tracking treatment responses. Help patients navigate their healthcare safely. Use knowledge of needs to prevent issues. Essential Functions of the Role * Prioritizing patient and family needs is crucial. Responsibilities involve developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans. Adjust as needed. * Making a safe place for patients, families, staff is vital. * This includes maintaining confidentiality and voicing patient concerns when necessary. * The successful candidate will manage learning for patients and families. They will help nursing staff grow. Key Success Factors * A basic understanding of the patient care practices, medical terminology, medications, and equipment used in interventional radiology nursing. * You must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to engage with different groups effectively. * Critical thinking and problem-solving for providing optimal patient care. * The ability to track changes in patients' health and communicate clearly with nurses and doctors. * Basic computer skills, particularly knowledge of electronic medical documentation systems and email.
