This position serves the patients, providers and other support staff by performing tests using the appropriate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-rays and performing routine diagnostic procedures as directed by providers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Position patients and adjust equipment for taking X-rays following established procedures
- Instruct patients regarding procedures
- Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment
- Select length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis
- Examine radiologic images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion
- Ensure equipment is in working order. Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
- Process routine paperwork
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations
- Maintain strictest confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (two-year) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT
- Current certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Oregon license in diagnostic radiography or the ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment
- Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with an electronic medical records system
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 to $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
