This is a high-volume, high-impact role within a stable group that manages a diverse case mix—ranging from high-acuity inpatient hospital work to specialized oncologic and outpatient imaging.
The Role: Flexibility by Design
We understand that the modern radiologist values schedule control. We offer several shift structures to fit your lifestyle:
- Daytime or Evening Shifts: Traditional day-shift blocks or "swing" evening coverage.
- Remote-First: Work from the comfort of your home with a practice-provided, enterprise-level workstation.
Clinical Spectrum
You will be part of a team providing subspecialty-level interpretations across a broad range of needs:
- Body & MSK: Robust inpatient and outpatient volume.
- Oncologic Imaging: Close partnership with regional cancer centers for staging and follow-up.
- Neuroradiology: ER and outpatient neuro cases.
- Mammography: Support for our dedicated outpatient breast centers (MQSA required).
What We Offer
- Top-Tier Compensation: Competitive salary with a clear path to partnership or a high-compensation "employed" track for those preferring a non-partner role.
- Work-Life Integration: Flexible PTO packages (8–12 weeks) and the ability to design a schedule that works for you.
- Full Tech Stack: We provide and maintain your home reading station, including 5MP monitors and integrated voice recognition.
- Professional Support: Full-service credentialing, licensing assistance, and IT support to minimize administrative friction.
- Comprehensive Benefits: 401(k), full medical/dental, and paid malpractice coverage.
Requirements
- Board Certification: ABR or AOBR certified (or eligible).
- Versatility: Proficiency in one or more specialties.
- Breast Imaging: Must be MQSA compliant.
- Licensure: New York State medical license (required prior to start).
- Current valid ACLS/BLS Certification
- Interpret a wide range of medical imaging studies such as CT scans, MRI, nuclear medicine, mammography, and ultrasound with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with physicians across specialties including cardiology, neurology, oncology, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, and emergency medicine to provide diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and Powerscribe for documentation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Stay current with advancements in diagnostic radiology techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.
