- PET/CT & Theranostics Fellowship (2026-27) & (2027-28)
Description
The PET/CT & Theranostics Fellowship is a one-year unique training program in all aspects of Theranostics adoption and applications applying radiopharmaceutical drugs and/or techniques that are uniquely combined to simultaneously or sequentially diagnose and therapeutically target an expanding number of radiosensitive malignancies. This is a new and very rapidly expanding modality for targeted cancer therapy utilizing radiopharmaceutical- based diagnostic and targeted ligand therapeutics centered around PET/CT. This Fellowship focuses training in diagnostic / nuclear and PET/CT (Molecular) imaging, radiopharmaceutical handling, dosimetry, radiobiology and radiophysics. At the completion of this Fellowship the trainee will have been exposed to the hybrid nature of this new area in medicine and have a firm conceptual grasp of all its intricacies.
Requirements
We welcome all interested applicants to apply to the PET/CT & Theranostics Fellowship program. At the time of matriculation to the fellowship, you are expected to have completed an accredited radiology residency or nuclear medicine residency and to be an ABR Board-eligible Radiologist.
The dates for the 2026 Radiology Fellowship cycle for academic year 2027-28 appointments are:
November 1, 2025: Applications accepted
January 12, 2026: Interviews begin
March 31, 2026: Interviews are completed
