*Multimodality Technologist (PRN - Every Wednesday Night) - Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Cedar Park* *Location:* Cedar Park, TX *Facility:* Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Cedar Park *Schedule:* *PRN | Every Wednesday Night* *Join Our Imaging Team* Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a *PRN Multimodality Technologist* to join the Imaging team at *Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Cedar Park*. This role is ideal for a technologist looking for *consistent PRN coverage every Wednesday night*, with the opportunity to work in a highly respected healthcare system known for innovation, teamwork, and patient-centered care. As a *Multimodality Technologist*, you will perform imaging procedures across *two or more modalities*, with at least *50% focus in an advanced modality* such as *CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology*, supporting both ambulatory and hospital patients. *What You'll Do* * Perform *high-quality multimodality imaging procedures* according to established protocols. * Maintain image quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency. * Communicate effectively using *AIDET principles* to ensure a positive patient experience. * Prepare and position patients appropriately; adjust equipment settings and exposure factors. * Adhere to all *radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique* standards. * Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness requirements. * Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance. * Verify requisitions, patient history, pregnancy status, shielding, and consent documentation. * Accurately document and maintain imaging records in *PACS and EMR systems*. * Support department operations by assisting with supply management and reporting issues. * Participate in *call coverage*, if required. *Key Success Factors* * Ability to independently perform *multimodality imaging exams* accurately and efficiently. * Strong patient communication skills and ability to put patients at ease. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. * Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of imaging workflows, regulatory standards, and quality assurance. * Willingness to serve as a *preceptor or trainer* for new team members when needed. *Benefits* Our competitive benefits package is designed to support your well-being and career growth and may include: * *Eligibility on Day 1* for health and welfare benefits * *401(k)* with *dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%* * *Tuition Reimbursement * * *Immediate PTO accrual* * Competitive wages and enhanced shift differentials * Cross-training and career advancement opportunities Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level. *Why Baylor Scott & White Cedar Park?* * Consistent *PRN Wednesday night schedule* * Work within one of the *most awarded healthcare systems in Texas* * Opportunity to cross-train and expand skills across modalities * Supportive leadership and collaborative imaging teams * State-of-the-art imaging technology in a modern hospital setting *Qualifications* *Education* * Graduate of an *Accredited Radiologic Technology Program* *Experience* * Less than *1 year of experience* required *Certification / Licensure* * *ARRT (R) - Radiography* * *ARRT (CT) - Computed Tomography* * *Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)* license issued by the *Texas Medical Board* * *Basic Life Support (BLS)* within 30 days of hire or transfer This position requires certification in *CT and X-Ray*. Other imaging modality certifications are not applicable to this role.
