Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Kentucky - Rotating Block Schedule

Interventional Radiology Physician locums opportunity in Kentucky near Huntington Tri State Airport offering ongoing rotating block coverage.

Highlights

• Two weeks on, one week off rotation
• Dedicated IR role with no diagnostic reads
• Strong APP and physician support
• Active stroke and vascular program

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient IR
• Four IR suites including one biplane plus CT access
• Two IR physicians on weekdays
• APP coverage daily with weekend support

Schedule

• 8 to 10 hour procedural days
• Week 1 call coverage
• Week 2 outpatient and procedural focus
• Week 3 off

Cases and Procedures

• Stroke thrombectomy and pulmonary embolism intervention
• Biopsies, drains, ports, and central lines
• Dialysis access, nephrostomies, embolizations, IVC filters
• TIPS and other bread and butter IR

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiology Physician
• Active Kentucky license required
• Ohio license preferred
• Ability to perform vascular cases, including thrombectomy
