- Exciting Pediatric Radiology Opportunity

Remote Eligible States: MD, FL, AL, GA, TN, PA, DE, WV, VA
Salary Range: $430,000 – $700,000
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking Pediatric radiologists. Under new leadership, the Department is undergoing a dynamic transformation, building on its longstanding legacy of clinical excellence. We offer a highly competitive compensation plan with performance-based incentives, along with a strong emphasis on schedule flexibility and faculty support. Aware of the marketplace challenges in pediatric radiology, the Department is offering new and creative schedule options with a range of compensation opportunities. Relatively low clinical volume: < 35 wRVUs/shift, and < 25 wRVUs/shift on weekends.
Option 1: 2 weeks on and 1 week off
- 190 total clinical shifts per year.
- 170 weekday shifts per year (8a-5p) structured as 2 weeks of 5-day workweeks (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) followed by the 3rd week off; translates to 17 weeks off duty per year!
- 10 weekends of call per year (remote from home; 20 total shifts).
- Base salary: $550,000 – $650,000 (based on rank and experience)
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts for additional compensation
Option 2: 26-week model
- 150 total clinical shifts per year.
- 130 weekday shifts per year (8a-5p); 26 5-day workweeks; 26 weeks off duty per year!
- Every other duty week can be done remotely from home
- 10 weekends of call per year (remote from home; 20 total shifts).
- Base salary: ~$425,000 (based on rank and experience)
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts for additional compensation
Option 3: Higher salary (with option for pediatric radiology leadership)
- 220 total clinical shifts per year; 10 weeks off duty
- 40 5-day workweeks (200 weekday shifts)
- 20 weekend shifts per year (10 full weekends)
- 25% of weekday work can be remote from home; all weekend work can be remote.
- Base salary: $675k (based on rank and experience)
