What You’ll Do
- Perform routine and complex Computed Tomography (CT) exams according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Operate CT equipment, interpret imaging protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
- Administer contrast and safely handle medications as required for imaging procedures
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to support patient care and imaging quality
- Monitor imaging supplies and ensure materials are properly stocked and within expiration dates
- Participate in departmental quality and performance improvement initiatives, including readiness standards from The Joint Commission
- Contribute ideas that enhance workflow, patient satisfaction, and departmental performance
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and stay current with advancements in CT imaging
What You’ll Bring

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program recognized by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) – ARRT
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Medical Board or Texas Department of State Health Services
- Current BLS/Healthcare Provider CPR certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing radiology procedures (all experience levels considered)
- ARRT Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
What You’ll Do
- Perform CT scan procedures accurately and efficiently as ordered by physicians to ensure optimal patient care
- Operate CT imaging equipment and follow established protocols
- Administer contrast and handle medications safely as required for procedures
- Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain certifications and licensure
