Lead the Future of Radiology at Atlantic Health's CentraState Medical Center

Atlantic Health System is seeking an accomplished, forward-thinking radiologist to serve as Chair of Radiology at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. This is a rare opportunity to lead a highly respected department within one of New Jersey's premier health systems and shape the future of radiology across a growing, innovative organization.

As Chair, you will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership while driving excellence in patient care, physician engagement, quality improvement, education, and growth. Working in close partnership with hospital leadership and system executives, you will play a key role in advancing Atlantic Health's vision for delivering world-class imaging services and expanding access to exceptional care.

What You'll Do

As Chair of Radiology, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Department of Radiology
• Collaborate with hospital and system leadership to advance and standardize radiology services across Atlantic Health
• Guide operational excellence, quality initiatives, and clinical innovation
• Lead physician recruitment, retention, mentoring, and team development
• Drive departmental growth to meet increasing patient demand and service line expansion
• Oversee budgetary, financial, and resource planning
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, education, and continuous improvement
• Support research, teaching, and professional development opportunities

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $650,000-$700,000.00 plus sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, 403B with partial employer match, malpractice coverage and much more:

• Board certified by the American Board of Radiology
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Must be fellowship trained
• Specialty Certification if applicable
• Administrative and leadership experience

ABOUT THE TEAM

Atlantic Health System's radiology departments provide state-of-the-art imaging services that can accommodate a wide range of patient needs with the highest quality and safety. In fact, many of our locations meet image gently® recommendations, meaning we "child-size" radiation doses for pediatric patients. Our medical team features board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists, who specialize in breast imaging, cross-sectional imaging, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, muscular-skeletal imaging, pediatric imaging, and interventional radiology. Highly skilled technologists and registered radiology nurses provide additional expertise and support. Atlantic Health System has radiology services at Chilton, Hackettstown, Morristown, Newton and Overlook medical centers, along with Goryeb Children's Hospital and a variety of outpatient locations. Services vary by location.
