PRACTICE OVERVIEW
Physicians for Breast Health is a growing, innovative, quality and patient care focused group looking to add a partner to start in Summer, 2027. Currently, our dedicated group of six fellowship trained breast radiologists with experience and expertise in the diagnosis and interpretation of mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and image-guided breast biopsy procedures, are looking to hire a new partner to replace a retiring partner.
POSITION SUMMARY
Physicians for Breast Health is a private physician group who is contracted with CoxHealth, one of the largest hospitals in the area. CoxHealth is a leader in health care and community involvement, with 6 Hospitals, more than 80 clinics, 5 ERs and nearly 12,000 employees throughout southwest Missouri. Our mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve through quality health care, education and research.
The Breast Care Clinic at CoxHealth is located inside the Hulston Cancer Center. It is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. It is also a designated Breast Center of Excellence. Accreditation is only given to those centers who have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance in three modalities: mammography, ultrasound, and stereotactic biopsy.
Physicians for Breast Health is located in the heart of the Ozarks in Springfield, Missouri. Physicians for Breast Health is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Breast Radiologist to join our practice in Summer, 2027 solely focused on breast imaging and support our growing outpatient facilities. This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position, working 4 days a week and no weekend or call requirement. The position includes competitive compensation along with a strong benefit package, which includes a 401k profit sharing plan, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, malpractice insurance coverage, and substantial PTO.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- On-site staffing within the Breast Care Center (remote work only will not be considered)
- 3-D mammography
- Diagnostic breast MRI and ultrasound
- Proficiency with Breast procedures required
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
- Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Fellowship trained in Breast Mammography
- 2026-2027 graduates welcome
